VenueYou may want to plan a few extra days around the conference dates to take advantage of all that our venue, the Enchantment Resort, has to offer. Enchantment is a lovely and luxurius retreat nestled in the beautiful boxed Boyton canyon of Sedona. The property is extraordinary. The meeting facilitites are modern. The guest rooms are spacious.
The tourism-driven "Uptown" area of Sedona is only a few miles away. However, there is plenty to experience at Enchantment. You and your guests may take advantage of the many free activities on-site. There are multiple swimming pools. Dramatic hiking trails are within walking distance. Children at least four years old may be enrolled in Camp Coyote for an additional fee (see Child Care). For those wanting to experience a little bit of pampering, Enchantment has one of the highest rated Spas in the world, Mii Amo. Your conference registration fee will include a continental breakfast and buffet lunch each day as well as a banquet dinner one evening. Enchantement will extend a 10% discount at hotel restaurants for conference attendees and guests.
Room Rates:The conference rate for single/double ocupancy Casita Bedroom/Deluxe Studio Mix rooms is $150 per night. Even larger rooms are available. This rate is good from June 18th to June 26th (2 days before and after the standard meeting dates). The resort fee is also being waived for UP2010 attendees and guests but will still have full resort privileges along with with free wireless/wired internet access. Portage fees are at the discretion of attendees. Arizona room tax is currently 6.325%.
Reservations:To guarantee you receive the group rate, reservations must be made before May 20, 2010 (Please note, this deadline is ten days earlier than stated previously). One can make a reservation by calling Enchantment directly at 1-800-826-4180 and indicating that you are part of the UP2010 group. You may also fill out a reservation form (below) and fax it to the the venue at 1-928-204-1267. Maps and directions can be found on the Travel Information page.
Checkin/Checkout:Guest accommodations will be available at 4:00 pm on arrival day and reserved until 12:00 noon on departure day. Any attendee wishing special consideration for late checkout should inquire at the front desk on the day of departure.
