Travel Information

Sedona is located 120 miles north of Phoenix in Arizona's central mountains. It is 30 miles south of Flagstaff. The two closest airports are Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) and Flagstaff Pulliam Airport (FLG). PHX is a major international airport, while FLG is a smaller regional airport with more restricted service. If you are coming from Los Angeles Alaska/Horizon Airlines offers great fares to Flagstaff.

Renting a car and driving from Phoenix or Flagstaff is a good option. This will allow for maximum flexibility if one wants to quickly travel from the secluded Enchantment Resort to "Uptown" Sedona or other regional points of interest (e.g. Grand Canyon). Driving directions follow. For those that do not want to drive there is also information about shuttle services below.

Phoenix-to-Sedona Transportation and Directions:

1) Sedona-Phoenix Shuttle: $95 round trip per person or $50 one way per person. They only accept cash or check (no credit cards). For reservations, call (928)-282-2066 and tell them that you are attending the "UP2010" conference (the round trip fare will be slightly discounted to $85 if at least 6 people use this company). 2) Ace Xpress shuttle service: Their normal fares are $99 round trip per person and $60 each way. They only accept cash or check (not credit cards). Reservations can be made on-line at their web page www.acexshuttle.com or by calling 1-800-336-2239.

3) Directions: The drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor airport (PHX) to the Enchantment Resort is 128 miles and takes about 2.5 hours. Click on the link below the following map for driving directions between PHX (A) and the Enchantment Resort (B).

Flagstaff-to-Sedona Transportation and Directions:

1) A Friendly Cab is $65 each way but can take up to 4 people in a cab. Their phone number is 928-226-0106.

2) Coconino-Yavapai Shuttle is $35 each way. They do not normally operate on Sundays unless there is a group reservation. Their phone number is 1-888-440-8929 and web page is coconinoyavapaishuttle.com

3) Directions: The drive from Flagstaff Pulliam Airport (FLG) to the Enchantment Resort is 34 miles and takes about an hour. Click on the link below the map for driving directions between FLG (A on map) and the Enchantment Resort (B on map).

Venue-to-Uptown Transportation:

If you do not rent a car or simply do not wish to drive, the Sedona Trolley (tour B) is a way to travel back and forth from Enchantment to tourist "Uptown" area of Sedona. It is not the fastest way as it occasionaly stops for scenic views. It is suggested you call them ahead of time to make sure they make the sceduled stop for Enchantement.

Grand Canyon:

The Grand Canyon is one of the most beautiful places on Earth, is only 113 miles North of Sedona. If you have not seen it you should take the time to experience it while in the area.
